[Question]: Is it possible to detect the US state? #26

Given that in the US, states can give the same license plate numbers; the state must also be recognized to get the unique ID of a license plate. Is that possible with this package? In case it's not, do you have an estimation of the difficulty of implementation?

Hey, yes it's possible, generally you could train the plate classifier to recognize the state, could you please upload a few examples of license plates?

I'd Imagine training a US state classifier is doable but would need lots of data samples. There's also multiple version of a plate for a given state sometimes, in my state I've seen like 3 different standard plate designs, and countless "vanity" plates - for sports teams, universities, misc causes/associations. Here's the bare minimum sample plates for the US
