"Send CC to automate" greyed out #1182

Hi,

I failed to find documentation on how MIDI events work in Carla so I assumed the following:

  1. You connect a MIDI output to a plugin's "events-in" port
  2. You select a plugin parameter with a context menu and select "Send CC to automate"

But "Send CC to automate" button is greyed out.

Which carla version? what plugin(s) does this apply for?

OS: Fedora 32 Carla version: 2.2-1.beta1 Plugins: All LV2 Calf plugins I tried (Reverb, Organ & Saturator at least)

Then I tried built-in LV2 plugins and Guitarix plugins but their parameters didn't seem to have support for CC events.

I cant really reproduce this at all. Can you try with 2.2-RC1 or later please?
