Popping when using Volume, Dry/Wet, Pan #1340

All is in title.

It is more obvious doing fast value changes. (both midi changes or using mouse)

It is not Xruns, it's just popping/crackling things

On which plugin does this happen?

I think it might be related to plugins with latency.

I've tried different plugins... zynaddsubfx.lv2, C*Sin, GFader. All reproduce issue. Even a signal through an empty carla-rack. But in this case only Volume and L/R induce popping. Not Dry/Wet.

@falkTX How did you try to reproduce?

Issue is still here for me.

Steps :

add a simple sine generator, like C* Sin .
Connect to system outputs
Use the carla's volume knob (not the plugin parameter) fast enough.
Listen the behavior.

No external sound card here.

Jack with alsa driver. Tested with different sample rates, different buffer sizes.

On another computer, I can't reproduce this issue. I presume it could be sound-card related.

It will be related to engine mode used, plugin formats, sample rate and buffer size.
