multitouch would be nice and the connection graph is conducive towards making connections with a finger. touch-oriented design makes sense for music apps too that encourage direct manipulation of multiple parameters simultaneously.
I totally agree, I also enjoy making connections using the touch screen, but more would need to be there in order to ditch the keyboard entirely. Some immediate things that come to mind are:
A dedicated big sidebar for zooming. I know there are already buttons on the toolbar for this, but they are too small to be touch friendly, and it would be nice to have large zoom controls without having to have the whole toolbar. Something like a tall vertical slider for zooming in and out, and a large button for zoom to fit would make a huge difference
The option to fling the canvas around the way similar apps on iOS/Android work. Maybe a toggle switch that changes between "fling" and "selection" modes?
