JSFX plugins not recognised #1725

I'm on Carla 2.5.2 under UbuntuStudio.

I have the option for JSFX but the files are greyed out in the file tree. Refreshing discovers no JSFX files. I have added files to the default path as well as created a new one that has files. Neither works.

Am I missing something?

As a workaround can you try to load a JSFX from the rack or from the patch-bay plugins, with the .jsfx extension? I was once able to get a plugin working that way, also make sure that all imports are contained in the same top level directory. For me once I added the library, it detected my plugin, with and without the extension, but it still refuses to load it because "Failed to load plugin: Cannot locate the JSFX plugin". Will report back if/when I have the both plugins loading correctly.
