Using Carla 2.5.5 (for Windows), a VST plugin I was using with previous versions just fine, is no longer able to get loaded into the Canvas.
The error is: Failed to load file; Failed to get plugin description;
The plugin is Poise (Percussion Sampler), it's free, can be downloaded here: https://www.onesmallclue.com
This plugin ran with no issues on Carla 2.5.0 and I'm not sure what changed to break it in the recent 2.5.5
