Carla 2.6.0 git cannot discover win vst on ubuntu 22.04 #1791

Right after a recent update to 2.6.0 git from the kxstudio repository Carla is not able to detect any windows vst2 and vst3 plugin. I am using KDE Neon based on UUNTU 22.04 and WINEHQ stable 8.0.

I can confirm it with a local build of master ( 604416bf3 ) vs tag 2.5.5 on Fedora; wine bridge doesn't seem to add plugins to the registry. I'm not sure if it's a UI or an engine issue since the UI is different and gives less details/controls (which is per se a good thing IMO, just making this bug slightly harder to locate).

this is not a bug, just not-yet-implemented in the new plugin list dialog approach. use stable/2.5.5 if you want the old stuff, the latest git is for latest developments which are still in progress

Downgrading to the stable Carla 2.5.5 included in KXStudio repository did not fix the issue with win vst detection. What I notice is that all the carla-bridge-* packages are locked at 2.6.0-git version and I cannot downgrade them to 2.5.5.

they need to be rescanned and bridges on the left panel (under architecture) need to be reenabled.

bridges are always latest git. but that doesnt matter for listing the plugins

I also had this issue for quite a while but with this I also can't make the alread loaded and saved VST2/3 plugin to output sound. I thought that the 2 issue could have been related but I had reverted all the packages mentioned above and still, even if I can now see the full wine vst plugins lists, i can't made them to output sound. They all have the dry/wet knob greyied and inactive.
