sunvox is a cross-platform modular synthesizer and tracker. while the application itself is proprietary, the underlying audio/dsp engine was open-sourced as part of the 3.8.2 release of pixilang and can be compiled and used as a dynamic library or c interface
.sunsynth files are files created by sunvox that can contain synths, effects, and data processors. while there is no easy way to edit .sunsynth files outside of sunvox itself, it would be very cool to be able to load and play these in carla/ildaeil. i've made over a hundred of these myself and it would be amazing to be able to use them anywhere carla can be used
