testing Carla works ok, *buntu 22.04.01 LTS, Wine 8.0.2-stable image

but tools should have the same name as the installer: image

PSPAudioware.com MasterQ 1.0.2 "Discontinued 2000-2014" works Ok, serial number license activation. only problem is i cannot type values with keyboard, for example 120Hz, but [Shift]+Mouse drag works ok. v1.0.2 was the only with variable latency, all others up to v1.5.2 last version have fixed latency, 2000-2009 CPUs were Not fast enough to handle Latency change, some DAWs had problems, has 2x Oversampling when "FAT" mode is enabled, but sounds "weird" dark, S.R. @ 48KHz, 2x = 96KHz, Digital audio at 44/48KHz, when harmonics go beyond Nyquist frequency, bounce back, and 44.1/48KHz sounds like a built-in harmonic exciter, but when 2x SR 88.2/96KHz, harmonics do Not bouce back to the audible range = sounds darker, some plugin manufacturers and S.R.C. converter algorithms have a strong LowPass Filter near the Nyquist Frequency to avoid harmonic bounce back.. Arturia calls it TAE, TAE2 but sound change in Carla seems too drastic when [x] FAT is enabled, Not in VSTHost, it could have another issue with controls, some old plugins go crazy at 96KHz, 1KHz becomes 500Hz or 2KHz, also the added latency for 2x Oversampling requires perfect phase sample accurate alignment or will create harmonic cancelations in the sound, thats why true 0-latency mode was removed, and fixed latency was introduced, later versions have latency even with No-Oversamplig/No-FAT mode, i need No-latency, thats why i keep v1.0.2 sounds ok with No-FAT mode. FAT Mode = 1.3ms / 64samples, No Vintage Limiter. Vintage Limiter = 1.4ms / 68 samples, No-FAT. Vintage Limiter + FAT = 2.7ms / 132 samples.

ParisEQ seem to work ok, v1.0 had low level noise issues with SMP/HT activated in the DAW, dont know if was fixed in v1.1

MDA-plugins for Windows work Ok, x64 & x32 Vst3, Vst2, wayback, web2

but... ilok.com usb plugins, like McDSP Channel-G EQ v6.6.0.1 New CG v7 does Not have 32-Bit VST2 "Discontinued" according to thier website, 2 ilok v3 USB-A detected $ lsusb Bus 001 Device *: ID **:**** iLok Portable secure storage for software licenses

ilok driver has pnputil error, like everybody else.... image

McDSP CG v6 x64 VST2 & VST3 IDLE, McDSP CG v6 x32 VST2 & VST3 give time out errors...

this USB problem is similar to Focusrite Scarlett / Clarett Control USB v2.2 - v3.6.0.exe was required to create a complete ALSA version for Linux, because Wine does Not do USB passthrough like VM. or something is missing in API translation.

i was looking a Linux replacement of VSTHost, web and Carla works.

havent tested Steinberg eLicenser Control Center USB nor Soft versions, Download elcc havent tested Steinberg VST Classics 1&2 havent tested Voxengo SPAN but Linux has similar Jack JAPA. havent tested TAL-plugins Win & Linux Must have TbT-Audio plugins.
