issue appeared in Firefox 29.0.1 (Mac os 10.9) Safari, Chrome are fine.

confirmed that I reproduced this problem on my machine too. Could be a side effect of us removing the sliding header earlier on

Thanks for the tip-off @famanson, the top margin on the intro was somehow affecting the very top of the page. Strange.
