4 years ago No problem, I will check it out tomorrow in the office pc, at home I prefer keeping R 3.6 until it's safe the upgrade. Paso a la la lengua materna, espero que el confinamiento y la pandemia no te haya causado problemas ni a los tuyos, Un abrazo y seguimos en contacto.

4 years ago Excelente. RTools es independiente de breedR, pero necesario para instalar el paquete en forma de source. Yo sigo intentando compilar el paquete para Windows. Hay una serie de correcciones necesarias derivadas de cambios en el comportamiento de Rv4. Nada grave, sobre todo para garantizar que los ejemplos y tutoriales funcionen correctamente. Lo subiré tan pronto como pueda, pero necesito atender otros asuntos.

4 years ago Eduardo, it should be working now. I released a new breedR version 0.12-5 to cope with necessary changes for Rv4. It is compatible with previous versions of R as well. Also, breedR v0.12-4 works fine with Rv4, except some minor differences in output with respect to documentation (e.g. R v4 no longer considers stringsAsFactors TRUE by default).
Could you please try to re-install with install.packages("breedR") (without type = source) just to check that it works? I currently don't have an up-to-date Windows virtual machine to test myself.

4 years ago Hi Facundo, v 0.12-5 successfully updated on R4, without needing Rtools. The only extra work to do is install manually breedR and their dependencies packages (without type= "source", of course): Matrix, gtable, R6, munsell, colorspace, magrittr, crayon and pkconfig. I list just in case you want to document in github forum. After that, library breedR is properly loaded. I didn't check the functionality of the package yet but I presume it will be ok. Thanks for the update again.

Hi Facu, I have just upgrade R to version 4 and it requires reinstallation of packages (I don't know why), and it seems that from your repository it is not possible. Can you check it? thanks in advance, I tried manual installation from breeder master zip file and I got the same error
