frotz module not able to open z-code files with '.DAT' extension #208

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.load any z-code file with .DAT extension
2.try to open and run this file
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output: opening lines of game
actual output: screen freeze

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest as of 9/13..
using port to kindle (paperwhite and touch)

Please provide any additional information below.
renaming files with extension as '.z5' resolves issue

ok.. cancel this..
came to know that .dat extension reserved for advsys games..
