How to start secondary apps (like whatsup) #344

Open profesor79 opened 2 years ago

profesor79 commented 2 years ago

Hi I have dual-sim phone with dual messenger capabilities (I can have two instances of WhatsApp, telegram etc) but I don't see a way to start this app from T-UI. Is there a command or that is something that shall be added to the package.

Thanks

As per I have tested it on a Xiaomi (can't access my samsung currently),

You should try clearing defaults of your WhatsApp (which is opening through the launcher) and then try to open, It should ask for options as 2 of the WhatsApp and just choose the one you want to open (note: always remember checkbox should be cleared /tap just once, if asked)

Please reply if it works @profesor79 , Thank you.

Thanks for prompt answer - but honestly I am not understanding the proposed process - could you please tell me what you mean by clearing the defaults (where to do it?)

You can clear the default from app info.

Then just open WhatsApp from tui

But if given preference which one to open, don't open it as for always or remember my choice. Use just once option.

Please reply if it helps you.
