Multiple apps with same name not showing #348

I use stock camera and gcam for camera purpose, and both apps name are identical (ie camera} and hence i can't open gcam. While opening camera it starts stock cam. The solution may be including package name (that com.android.**** stuff) near app name for similar apps to show.

One thing you can try to get around this is uninstall the one camera app. Do the apps -hide camera then install the other camera app. This should work for now. Not sure if mr. andreuzzi is doing much with this project anymore.... Maybe its time to fork this.

yeah that's fine till an extent, But my problem needs a solution as if we can use both apps seamlessly. And yes i think too that its time to fork.
