Thank you for your interest and question. We do not recommend the use of nanodisco for human or plant because nanodisco is focused on motif level de novo methylation discovery, the critical step for bacterial methylome analysis. The detection of individual methylation sites using nanopore sequencing, at least using nanodisco, is currently still challenging as we explained in Q7 in FAQ.

Dear nanodisco author,
I wonder if you think we can use this tool in plant sample? I know you did not recommended for methylation level prediction in human, as many other tools can do that. but in plant, no many tools can detect methylation in non-CpG motif. We are interested in comparing methylation profile in plants. We will have data from promethion R10 flow cells, and my other question is whether R10 data are compatible now? I read in your answer in another issue that you are planning to include this.
Thank you
