Visualizing a large ring crashes the browser #9

Hi,

I'm trying to visualize a large ring (>1000 devices, 5 zones) and it crashes every browser I've thrown at it. Chrome 34, Firefox 29, Opera 21, Safari 7 -- all on OSX 10.9.

From the above, Firefox seems to be doing the best - at least showing part of a zone with a few devices in it - the others are not able to show anything before crashing.

There isn't any load on the server the application is running on, the heavy lifting really seems to be done by the browser.

Any ideas ?

seems to be the same basic issue as issue #7
