possible enhancements:

  1. in the waypoints menu being able to "teleport" to the waypoints on the map (useful when ur 1 mil blocks out and want to see spawn)
  2. being able to see nether map in the overworld etc (map selector or whatever)

You can already like tp to waypoints though

I think the author is suggesting the ability to scroll the world map to bring a specific waypoint into view; a "view waypoint" command. With very large maps any spawn waypoint (for example) would require a lot of scrolling to display.
