I was curious if there's a historical reason as to why Item Piles uses the character Actor type instead of the npc Actor type. There are a few assumptions that are made with characters that aren't made with NPCs.
For example, by default, characters start with a currency value of 500. This means every default Item Pile is created with 500 as the currency value and the token is labeled accordingly as well. Another example is the addition of action Item Types to the SWADE system. These are added to Characters by default (see #506), but not NPCs.
