Make the Output Laser Printer Friendly #44

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Currently initial substates are marked with a color different from other
substates.
2. We can save the statechart as a PNG file and print it out using laser/inkjet
printers. But the color difference will be difficult to see in a
black-and-white output.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Can we stick back to UML's style of using black dot (or something with a
different shape) as the initial state to make the chart laser printer friendly?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

can you please make suggestions (maybe with an attachment) of the styles of
each type of node as listed in the display legend section of the guide?

thanks

Initial substate is the only item currently that is not laser printer friendly
because it is displayed in different color only with the same shape.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statechart, has examples of black dot as initial
state.

The last commit sets a circular shape for the initial node, I think it is a
simple step in this direction.
