I have been using your configurations for a while and came up with few things:
it's not easy to update plugin list, because your script makes smth with .zip archives and other staff that is not really seful
neocomplete freezes system. I am not sure if it's configured in a wrong way or it's because neocomplete is deprecated.
So what are my changes here:
first, i have replaced your python scripts with single bash script, which installs, updated and deleted plugins easily, you just need to add / delete them from list
also, I have deleted some plugins that I find not very useful and replaced neocomplete with deoplete, with is improved version of autocompletion
modified configs structure a bit. now all plugins are stored in bundle and their settings in vimrc/plugins/<plugin_name>.vim, which I think is easier to navigate. basic.vim and extended.vim files are same.
also, I have do not store plugins themselves in repo, which is not needed at all
installation now possible from any place with single make command
