mdotm adapter causes the application to hang #188

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run application with MDotM SDK installed and active in AdWhirl settings.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
While retrieving an ad, the application occasionally becomes completely 
unresponsive, this can last up to 10 seconds on some occasions.
Observing the LogCat output, I could see that the unresponsive period coincides 
with the beginning and end of an MDotM request. Having disabled MDotM in my 
AdWhirl settings, the problem has not manifested itself again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
AdWhirl 2.6.3, MDotM SDK (latest version), Android 2.2
