This should be an easy one, and I agree it would make a lot of sense. I've been thinking about the idea, too, of deleting logs from the server, and other operations that aren't quite possible from FK, and might not be for a while, and I feel like it's important to keep that a separate experience, that the user knows they're exiting FK for the more administrative pages of farmOS.
I'll try to pick this off as part of the "low hanging fruit" for milestone 0.8.0.
Minor idea... and I realize this is a controversial feature request... ;-)
In the "Edit Log" screen, there is a button to open the log in the remote farmOS site. Currently, when you click that link (eg: in farmOS.app), it opens it in the same tab, taking you away from the app.
While I am generally not in favor of "opening a link in a new window" (and generally think this should be a decision of the web visitor), I think that this case might be a good exception to that rule. farmOS.app is an app, not a website (conceptually speaking). So by opening this particular link in a new window, it serves to maintain the conceptual separation between Field Kit (the app) and farmOS (the remote server).
Thoughts? :-)
