A hack was just released for the Astro City Mini which performs a firmware backup before installing Batocera.
nandd.img from the backup contains the Astro City Mini's rootfs, with the ROMs contained inside the executable file /usr/astro/astro.
Using the binwalk program, a zip file containing the ROMs can be extracted from the astro executable (by running binwalk -e astro.
Unfortunately, the ROMs inside the zip file are password-protected, which leaves us in a similar situation as the Taito Egret II mini firmware (see #67).
