Requirements (using MoSCoW method):

1. Note taking
2. Time tracking

Should have:

1. Flashcards

Regarding the must haves, I would add:

• Markdown support
• Time tracking could be nice, but it would be great to set deadlines or schedule the study time and other deadlines from the notes app.
  • import a calendar?
  • import the OU weekly calendar from a course as a template?
  • create notifications when certain deadlines are coming up?

Should have:

1. Flashcards:
   • Sharable flash card decks?
   • maybe some ind of inline marker for the notes like <flash-front>This is a note topic</flash-front> <flash-back>this could be a bulleted list to show on the back</flash-back> ? We would have to add some kind of parsing to our markdown but it could be really nice to not have to create a separate flash card editing view

I will come back to expand on my own ideas but I think you've both added some great ones already.

• AI implementation, using OpenAI, Bard or Cortana APIs. Create a note from a prompt?

The only thing about shareable notes is I wonder if it might touch on the area of plagiarism? Unless we're just talking about sharing to ones own accounts or devices? If people shared a note and then the exact text came up in a assignment of another student, what would be the rules on that?
