crashing frotz on story quit and restart

With the new version of Frotz (updated 3/30/2011), on my iphone 3gs (16 GB).
Run Frotz. Load a story file (9:05 is a good working example of the problem). 
at the first input, type "Quit"... and yes I am sure...
receive [end of story, tap story list to exit]...
i tap story list. Returned to story list screen. Immediately choose 9:05 again, 
and Frotz hangs at the title graphic.
I close frotz then reopen it. It hangs up on the first re-open.
Close frotz again and reopen it again, now it is working normally.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.load a story (tested on 9:05)
2.quit the story
3.load the same story again

What is the expected output or behavior?  What do you see instead?

What version of Frotz are you using?
1.5

What device model are you using (iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch 3rd gen,
etc.)
iPhone 3GS

What version of iOS?  3.2, 4.0, 4.3, etc.)
4.3

Please provide any additional information below.
Also tested this problem with "A bears night out" which has no openings graphic 
screen. Same issue. The key to the crash is to QUIT the story then restart it.

I can replicate this exact problem. iphone 4, ios4.3.1, Frotz 1.5.1.
