It would be nice if there was a function that monitors that the Home Assistant is available (HA Heartbeat). If it is not available for, say, 10 minutes, it would automatically return to "auto" mode. This would be good because many people schedule the thermostat from HA. However, if for some reason the thermostat cannot be controlled (HA fail, Wifi fail, etc.), it would revert to its own scheduler.
I can imagine this in the way that the IP address of the Home Assistant could be entered in an input field. It would ping this every minute. If this IP address do not answer 10 times, it will return to "auto" mode.

Is this development possible?
Thanks!
