Does not work on yandex browser #288

This is a wonderful extension. I use it on Google chrome and on firefox. However, I cannot install your extension on yandex browser, an error occurs:

"An error occurred during the download. Contact the developer or try again later.
Invalid manifest"

Hello, The problem is that Yandex Browser (same as Opera browser) doesn't allow installing addons that overrides New tab page. So you won't be able to install my addon or any other speed dial or new tab replacement. I've wrote to their official support but I've got reply: "Unfortunately, we do not give access to change the page of a new tab."

I'm sorry for the bad news.

I installed your extension on Opera via import (unpacked extension). However, I use bookmarks to access the extension in the Opera browser. Perhaps there is some workaround for Yandex browser as well?

Sadly no. Opera they only removed such extensions from store and you can still install them from Chrome store. They also ignore the "override new tab" setting set in the manifest file (so the extension works, it just doesn't override new tab nor homepage). But Yandex will simply fail the whole installation if it sees that the extension wants to override new tab page.

You should report this to Yandex. If enough people complain, they may lift the restriction.
