Thank you for the links!!! I've tired to release it few years ago (!!!) for the old Edge which already supported new extensions. But the process was complicated and it was never approved, even though I had to pay some developer fee. I've contacted them but I've received only some automated response.... very bad experience. So you can imagine why I'm not eager to try again :)
But I do plan to try again :), I've already tired a while ago but it's so much more complicated compared to Firefox / Chrome. I will give it a try soon. I'm now working on a new version so I will try it after it's released. Wish me luck :)
I had no idea it was that complicated and frustrating; developing paying and waiting just for a rejection sounds like a nasty experience, I'm sorry you went through that. I hope this time around it should be straight-forward, because Chromium, but totally understandable if that shitty memory made you a bit bitter about Microsoft. Either way, my best wishes to you friend!
It took me a while but it's finally released in the MS store: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/scrollanywhere/bnfehbhhahbfeafoklkjfigndlbkbgnp
They made it much easier this time, although I did have to contact them because it was still in review after nearly 2 weeks. So now when I build a new version I'll have to upload it to Edge / Chrome / Safari / Firefox and Thunderbird stores, OMG!
Hey, thank you very much for adding to the MS store, and I'm sorry for replying so late. And also my apologies for increasing your workload when updating the extensions across all those different browser stores -__- I hope this will help other office clerks with locked down company pc's get access to this wonderful extension. I am going to promote it within my own circles and give it a few mentions across the nerdy sub-reddits too. Thank you again!
I think you should publish this extension directly to the MS Edge store. Yes, it's very easy to add Chrome store extensions, and it works absolutely fine. However, this extension deserves more visibility. More people should know about it and you should make it easier for them to add it by removing the hesitance of double-thinking clicking the "Allow extensions from other stores" button.
Two links that I hope will make it not too much trouble:
This is such an awesome extension, it really ought to become a native feature. Intuitively enabling your mouse as if a finger on a touchscreen. By now we're collectively so accustomed to mobile and tablet browsing, just the tagline of this extension sparks a whole world of possibility, a small super power, a new way of using your computer. Thank you again for making this and my best wishes for this project!
