movies recommended only #3

On 2.3.7 version the movies shelf item only has "recommended movies" available as an option, the "recently added" option has disappeared completely or I'm having problems finding it.

I had it set to recently added in the past but this upgrade has wiped that off

on homescreen, go up to recommended and then up again. An arrow should appear. press ok, it should switch to recent items.

if that doesn't work, go to settings>skin Settings> homepage customizer and change it from there.

let me know if you succeed, so i can close the ticket.

It won't let me go up to that option on the home screen and in the skin settings there is only the option for trailers on/off

You definitely right!!

I accidentally took out the settings for shelf!! pushing the fix to repo right now.

still i don't know why it won't let you go up from home. ( you got no recommended? )

Nope, it only has recmmomended and the shelf is completely empty

I'll post the results when I install the fixed version

Think this could be an openelec issue, installed the newest version (pulled from git)

In the skin settings it is now set to recently added movies but the home screen still shows Recommended and won't let me go up to change it and the shelf is still empty

Edit - just checked out Confluence and recently added movies are showing on the home screen by default, so the option is definitely working :/

could you try resetting all skin settings?

Yeah just done that and it fixed it, now shows recently added and can scroll up from the home screen
