FastoTV Player errors out at startup #47

Installed FastoTV on a Linux desktop running Linux Mint 19. At startup I'm presented with a graphic page of a Red Broken Line Plug. At the top of the page is the following:"please sync your config(/home/guy/.fastotv/fastotv.ini"

Fastotv log files contains this: 11:56:52.494 FastoTV [ERROR] Lirc init failed! 11:56:52.494 FastoTV [ERROR] connect : Invalid argument

Nowhere do I find how to do the syncing that is requested.
