Segmentation fault growlnotify without password #116

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Works as expected: "growlnotify -H receiver.local -P secret -m test"
2. Call without password "growlnotify -H receiver.local -m test" results in
segmentation fault

What is the expected output?
It should just tell me that the authentication failed.

What do you see instead?
It tells me about the failed authentication and then crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.1b2 on Mac OSX 10.6.2

Please help. Incoming app registration from growl on my MBP crashes growl
1.2.1b2 on my MBA 10.6.2 and
vica versa. I am using Growl beta as 1.2 will not allow any network
notification at all.

In 1.2.1b2 only already registered apps work. Trying to register a new app in
growl crashes Growl
