What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open VoiceOver Utility.
2.In the speech/pronunciation tab, set a pronunciation rule, e.g. WTF='Uh Teh
Fuh'.
3.Receive a message containing the rule, e.g. "WTF?"

What is the expected output?
Speech display should follow the rule and say "Uh Teh Fuh".

What do you see instead?
Speech display says "Double-Yoo Tee Eff".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.2 on OS 10.6.7

Please provide any additional information below.

Only VoiceOver uses the list of custom pronunciation rules you set in VoiceOver
Utility. Speech synthesis provided to all other applications does not use it.
If that ever changes, you will almost certainly hear Growl pick up the fix with
no work on our end; at any rate, there is nothing we can do about it.
