Registered application settings change without user action #53

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. change the system language 
2. logout / logon or restart the mac
3. check notification settings of registrered applications at the growl pref 
pane

What is the expected output?

correct notification settings of the registered applications at the grown pref 
pane are not 
supposed to change

What do you see instead?

some checkboxes are "checked" after change the system language 
(p.ex. iChat "User came online" notification is enabled - was DISabled)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- growl 1.2
- Mac OX X Snow Leopard 10.6.1

Please provide any additional information below.

- intel core duo processor
- intel gma graphics

Better title. This looked like a request in the list of issues, but it's a bug 
report.

Need to investigate for 1.4. 1.3 is pretty full up already.
