Scrolling lists causes the garbage collector to reclaim memory #24

"Hitching" or slow fps while scrolling lists. This seems to be cause by the garbage collector freeing memory for every pixel scrolled. No errors in logs only feedback from garbage collector. http://pastebin.com/jXLbjmna

This is not specific to the nook. I've seen it happen on other devices but I'm not certain as to the cause

This is somewhat fixed by switching to hdpi. Garbage collector still seems a bit off.
