URGENT: SVG import doesn't work (drag'n drop) #480

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Pencil
2. Create a new Document
3. Drag and Drop an SVG image

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

SVG Image is on the canvas. This doesn't work, you don't see anything pasted 
(the cursor also doesn't transform in a drop cursor, but remains a crossed 
circle aka stop shiel sign).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Pencil 1.3.4, Windows 8 x64 RTM (maybe here's the problem?)

Please provide any additional information below.

Compatibility mode (Win7 or XP) doesn't work as well.
