Portal 2 Start/Stop/Reset Not Working #5

In Portal 2, the timer starts normally when starting from the first level, as expected, but the timer does not stop while loading a map or whenever the game is paused. (Windows 10)

Edit: It would be helpful if I associated the game with the issue. Go me...
