Does CTRL-C work? If not, could you share your terminal emulator and environment (are you using Docker and/or SSH)?

There should be a more user-friendly way to close Carbonyl rather than sending the SIGINT signal by Ctrl-C. Possibly with confirmation (Are you sure you want to quit?). Maybe a top menu like in links/elinks or a command line like in qutebrowser?
