for summary info for an area, what can we use? Statist plugin, zonal statist plugin?

ghtmtt commented 10 years ago

getting info just gliding layers is very simple with the map tips tool: we have just to be sure which attribute has to be displayed. I include it in the documentation with some example, we have time later to change it

pcav commented 10 years ago

ok for map tips; more info can be obtained with statist plugin

ghtmtt commented 10 years ago

I include here the identify features tool (section -> layer attributes). I think it would be better to activate open the feature form rather than the default pop-up windows. Can we set it to default during the installation process?

pcav commented 10 years ago

Agreed, it would be nice.

ghtmtt commented 10 years ago

Fine, but this option is linked with the project properties or have we to set in during the packaging?

pcav commented 10 years ago

No idea, just test ;)

ghtmtt commented 10 years ago

It seems open feature form is NOT related with the single projects settings but only with the QGIS settings. So we should find a way to include during the packaging. Might it be possible to do? Alternatives?

pcav commented 10 years ago

It should be possible to start qgis with a custom settings file. This should be included in the custom package.

ghtmtt commented 10 years ago

Open the feature form rather then the default pop-up can be set starting QGIS with the --configpath option.
