Please change sending grades per email #44

Please describe your feature request in detail, and explain how it would
work, and why it would be of help to you and other teachers.

I would like to use Flubaroo to grade assignments for students, as well as
provide them with the answers to questions they got correct/incorrect.

Yet according to the FERPA law, teachers across the country may not send actual
grades nor test scores to students per email.

I would be very grateful if you could make a change in the options to email
students , that teachers may not include the grade/score, simply just the
questions and answers.

Once this change is made, I believe this would be much more helpful for
teachers and students alike. It provides a wealth of information for teachers
to focus on data-based instruction.

Thanks again! I hope to see this change soon!

Should the email also include which questions the student got right/wrong
(without points)?

Yes, that would be great. The reason I like the Flubaroo script is that you can
easily provide students with the right/wrong questions as well as the option to
provide or withhold correct answers. Just as long as the email does not say
"grade" or make any reference to percentages correct/incorrect that may be
misconstrued as a grade.

The great thing about being able to provide students with information if only
right/wrong, is that they have the opportunity to try again and correct their
mistakes. If they do not choose this option, or even if they do, then it's easy
to send them the correct answers as well after one or two attempts.

The grade for the assignment may be graded not as a percentage of correct vs.
incorrect, but on a sliding scale (which is what I plan to use!). Thanks again!
