option that scores short answers based on blank or not blank #85

Please describe your feature request in detail, and explain how it would
work, and why it would be of help to you and other teachers.

As part of critical thinking and analysis, I reward my students for any 
thoughtful answer.

Could we also have an option that scores short answers based on blank or not 
blank?

When using Excel, I use the formula.

if(isblank('Student Submissions'!H3),0,1)

I like the option for multiple answers.
Perhaps adding a wild card "%*" for any non blank answer
