5 years ago To be completely honest I cannot really support this plugin anymore. The code is too vague and convoluted for me and I haven't ever gotten around learning the Electron framework. Maybe one day I can maintain the project again but I don't see in the foreseeable future, sorry.

5 years ago I can confirm this.
I like using hyper-overlay but for some reasons it seems to randomly crash and so my previous session is gone.
I don't know if this is related but if I update plugin by clicking Plugins -> Update then the session is also gone after Hyper seems to restart itself (maybe Hyper occasionally checks for plugin updates and cause this?). Not sure where Hyper logs are to confirm this.
@Favna thanks for your hard work, I understand this might not be fixed in near future but I'll see if I can figure out the cause when I have more time.
I've been using this extension since it's previous form. I was hoping this update would correct the most frustrating part of using the extension (for me). It causes Hyper to crash seemingly randomly multiple times a day.
I'm not sure how I would go about diagnosing the error. The only other strange behavior that I notice, which is even more rare than a crash, is finding the following at the bottom of my session when I open the terminal. Given that I only catch this sometimes, I feel like it has something to do with the crashing.
