Support for 3ds Max would be really appreciated since the plugin only supports 
Maya

There is a rudimentary port to Bullet for the 3ds Max plugin here:
http://code.google.com/p/dynamica/downloads/list

If you use it and have any improvements, please report them in the Dynamica 
repository.
