winetricks syntax error #104

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run winetricks(./winetricks)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output would be the GUI
but what i see is:
$ ./winetricks
/home/liar/.wine/dosdevices/c:/winetrickstmp/zenity.sh: 83: Syntax error: 
"(" unexpected

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
current version of winetricks(17 Mar. 2010) on ubuntu 9.10

Please provide any additional information below.
its because of the "'" in "Valve's" at line 244 in winetricks
