installing directx9 on ubunto 8.10 #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installing directx9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have obtained the error message.
command 'wine c:\winetrickstmp/DXSETUP.exe' returned status 247. Aborting

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 8.10
winetricks version 20081223

I tried this here, can't reproduce.  Does it still happen for you?
If so, does it still happen even if you remove your old ~/.wine directory?
