I believe fcitx5-mozc currently always starts in Hiragana mode. I would like an option to start in Direct Input mode. This way, instead of having mozc disabled by default and turning it on when I need to type Japanese, mozc can be enabled in Direct Input mode by default, which means that features like Reconvert are always available.
