  1. What information can tweets give about the relationship between emotional response and action in a natural disaster scenario?

  2. Can tweets be used to predict preparedness and response to natural disasters? For instance, when a natural disaster trends or is mentioned by a celebrity on Twitter, does public response significantly change?

3*. What information can tweets provide about specific locations in disaster-affected areas (evacuation, impact, infrastructure, utilities, communities affected, etc.)?

*My personal favorite idea.

The third idea could be a good one to merge with the "social justice issues" that were mentioned in the list sent to us!
