Recent Jira updates means that sometimes the user email is not sent over to GitHub. This is rare and can be solved by unexalating and reconnecting the issue, but as it’s not consistent and takes manual intervention, a better solution is needed.
After discussing with Exalate support, the best solution will be to update the user mapping to read user key instead of email.
