How can uses determine if a committee's data has been processed?
The context of this question is about the three filing deadlines in July but applies to any filing. In a discussing and demonstration with power users, Christian and I showed the users where they could find the newest eFilings on the filings tab of the committee profile. We also told them we would be adding links to the summary page that will take them to the underlying transactions. It generally takes 5 to 10 days for FEC staff to code and process transaction-level data.
They then asked how can they know a committee's data has been processed by looking at the financial summary page.
