@michaelkaeppler https://github.com/michaelkaeppler Can you check if it helps with VirtualBox? And also with mkosi? I've checked lilypond make and make doc, which works fine.
Thanks for updating, Federico! Creating the image on my Ubuntu 18.04 box worked fine. Dynamic resizing still does not work with the recommended VMSVGA driver, unfortunately.
Mkosi: For installing mkosi from the git repo, python3-setuptools is needed. After installing dosfstools and debootstrap I could build a mkosi VM image of LilyDev (current master) without problems.
Nice, that these nasty dracut warnings (that overflowed the logs) are gone now, too. Seems that some dependencies have been added in comparison to stretch, because the VM image is ~500 MB larger.
Cheers, Michael
~500 MB larger is a lot.
I got:
Resulting image size is 27.3G, consumes 2.7G.
Anyway, I'll merge this one. Then you can take care of the mkosi installation in the open PR? #23
