After thinking about it, this isn't as practical as I thought it would be. Might come back to the idea later

Did you run into specific issues that make it impractical?

Comparing the candidates output of Spitler pipeline's single pulse search with my FOF, the only common statistics were start/end in frequency and time of the candidates. It doesn't seem immediately necessary to create a hierarchical class structure. When I get to thinking about candidate scoring methods, this might be a good tool, but I'd rather flesh out more of the pipeline first
